From Athens city centre via the Korinthos/Patra National Road:

Driving from Athens take the Korinthos/Patra National Road.

After entering Patra (1st exit after the tolls), keep on the right lane that heads to the City Centre.

The distance from Athens to Patra is approximately 216 kilometres.


From the Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos:

After leaving the Athens International Airport drive along the "Attiki Odos" headed to Elefsina.

After exiting the "Attiki Odos" highway you find yourselves on the Korinthos/Patra National Road.

Bus is a green, convenient and cost-efftctive way of getting to Patras.

The bus network is managed by KTEL. The central bus station "KTEL Achaias" is located in the city centre where from buses from main Greek cities operate.


If you wish to travel by public transport from the Athens International Airport, get the Bus E93 from outside the airport's main building (gates 4-5) and get off at the Kifisos Interurban Bus Station.

Patras is connected to Athens by KTEL Bus Operator based in Kifisos Interurban Bus Station. The route frequency is about every hour.






You can get to Patras by sea. Arrive in Patras choosing one of the ships calling to Patras Port. On July 11th 2011 the new South Port of Patras has become operable for the itineraries between Patras and Italy.

Daily routes connect Patras with the Italian ports of Ancona, Bari and Venice while with Greek islands of Corfu and Kefallonia.
